Your employer has no right whatsoever to search your personal property. The only thing they can do is call the police if they believe you are doing something illegale, and even they can't search your car without your permission or a warrent to do so.

Can a employer search you vehicle
I recently started a new job. One of their policies is no weapons on property, but it is not gated or secured. I have a conceal carry permit to carry a gun. I am female and work second shift. So I have this for my protection, which is my second amendment right. So do they have the authority to search my vehicle? And if I let them and I keep my gun in my purse, they should have no right to search my purse. But if I refuse to let them search my car, I will be fired. Legally they can't fire me for having a gun in my car cause I'm legal to have it. And our governor passed a law in 2006 stating and employer can't stop me, unless parking lot is gated or secured. What are my rights here. And what action can I take if terminated. They are suppose to start random vehicle search
