What could cause Emission Results on the following?

On a 1990 Ford Ranger with 34,000 miles what would cause an HC reading of 247 (Limit is 200) and a CO reading of 5.27 (Limit is 1.20) on High Speed RPM and on Low Speed RPM an HC reading of 625 (limit is 200 and a CO reading of 1.76 (limit is 1.20)? The truck has not been driven much the past two years.

Also you might want to use a mid or high grade fuel the octane rating is how complete the fuel will burn and how fast. 93 octane fuel burns almost 100 percent and burns twice as fast as regular. some ford vehicles have high compression engines and the will spark knock using regular fuel and actually recommend that you use mid to high grade fuels.
