Need help asap
I have a sister inlaw who was in a car accident had a collapsed lung, crushed foot , 2 broken ribs and crushed hand. she was put on life support as was having proublems breathing , and they tried to pull it two days later and still wasn't able to breath on her own waited a couple days decided to give her a uperdural for pain so they could pull her off the breathing machine things were going good she was breathing on her own and doing good so they were trying to pull the tube from her throat and she stopped breathing again so they had to start the machine up and now are talking about a trakeotomy and don't understand how this will help.
