This was the first yoga DVD I ever had and I loved it! It was uplifting and relaxing, but a great workout as well. They teach you the basic poses and variations if you aren't very flexible! I just loved this one. Mtv has a version too that is really fun, but if you are just starting out this one is fantastic.
I wish I would have gone to a seminar to learn at first though because when a yogi sees you pose, they can really tell you if something is wrong and you get the full benefit, I had to unlearn some of my bad habits. Most yoga places will have like a 1 month seminar for beginners at much cheaper than their other classes (to get you hooked of course :)
Hope that helps! BTW the best time to do yoga is early morning or sunset depending on whether you are a morning or a night person.
