White spots on the skin

My 6 year old son has white spots on his left shoulder and the left side of his neck. They look like little tiny blisters and he has had them for almost 4 months now. They dont get bigger and dont seem to be spreading, although I think he may have a few more than he did when I first noticed, but if so its only a handful more. He says that they do not itch, burn nor hurt. They dont look quite like pimples, more like little tiny blisters, like bubbles on the skin. Has anyone ever saw this or think they know what it is?? I have not taken him to the doc because as I said, they are not spreading and are not uncomfortable. Noone else in the family has ever had/gotten these... WHAT ARE THEY!??!

My 9 year old has had something similar. His look like warts/blisters, but if he picks at them they fall off and bleed for a bit. They don't itch or anything - they are just there, like a wart. His pediatrition told me to put cortizone on them 2 times a day for a week or so and see what happens. They think it may be a virus (like a wart virus), but aren't sure. So for (been 3 days w/ cortizone) nothing has happened, but you may want to try it. If I hear anything new from doctor I will definatly repost for you.
