At what point is cold cold?

Depending on where you live, cold is relative on what you consider it being.

From people I have talked too, cold could be in the 40s, or if you live further north cold might not be till the temp drops into the 20s. If you live in the sunny state of Florida, cold might be 60 degrees and you digging out the sweaters.

What part of the country (or which country) do you live and what do you consider cold?

Here in Colorado, I would say that cold starts about 10 - 15 degrees F, a bit higher if there is a wind. Under 0 is when it starts to get really cold.

Last January 07, it was 17 degrees here in Washington state. We were getting ready to go to Honduras where the folks told us to bring warm coats because it was their winter and 60 degrees! They felt cold and we were loving it!

This year Jan 08, we went to Roatan Honduras and basked in 85 degree sunshine and returned home to 32-40....Freezing! So, really it is individual tolerance and acclimation to the climates around you. Personally, anything less than 70-I have goosebumps:) Need to move heh
