How much notice should a manager of a fast food place after changing the schedule midwee.

My daughter went to work last night on her scheduled day, and was told the schedule had changed and she was to work the next day on her friday off.

Being flexible is one thing, respectful is another. Employers should respect that people have lives out side of the work place and should not be expected to work on a scheduled day off with out first asking. Heaven forbid she had "plans".
