Automobile Accident @ 4:45pm

Hi, I was in a major accident on Dec. 26 a 74yr old man TBoned me on the driver side failing to yield. I was going southbound he was going northbound and he made a left turn in an open section in the street to go into a subdivion and hit me from the impact it caused my car to go out of control sending my car into someone's yard and through there wooden fence my car went and luckily it stopped before entering into there house. I was taken away in an ambulance having to crawl from front seats to the back seat. I'm not sure if there where witnesses or not but, there were 2 men standing in the street as I looked trapped in the car. Paremedics and HPD came to the seen the Paramedic's men helped me out of the car. The man that hit me gave the officer his insurance card with a good date and year but, come to find out the man James Hamilton had let his premium overlapse so no insurance. Thank God! I had full coverage. Yes my head was hurting from impact and my speech was slower from the impact and my side was weak. I was taken to the Hospital in Houston. The police officer on the other hand talked to this man I did manage to see that before being taken away in ambulance asking him questions about the accident. However, this police officer know this man was at fault and also the officer described how the accident happened but he did not give this man a ticket or citation and he had no insurane. I know there is something I can do about this I am very angry at t

A ticket could not be issued because he showed he had insurance card that was good at the time of the accident. Have you gone to court yet ,,, he most likely will be charged in court for driving with no insurance ,, Because they couldnt catch the lapse till later on. Also if there is no court , then you have to make a citizen complaint at you police station. Good luck with it
