Fun! We have just returned from Roatan, Honduras. It is one of the Bay Islands. Beautiful white powdery sand beaches and clear turquoise blue waters. The best beach on the island is West Bay. You can research it on the internet. Continental does provide flights to the island on Saturdays and depending where you are coming from, they are somewhat reasonable in pricing. It is a 2 1/2 hour flight from Houston, Texas or Florida. It is 80-85 degrees year round! You wouldn't have to worry about the language, most speak English along with Spanish. There are many activities to do such as Zip-lining (Canopy tours), scuba diving, snorkel, snuba, Gumbalimba park, Iguana farm, marine parks, swimming with dolphins at Anthony's Key Resort, etc. Different places to stay depending on your style.
