Constant and Severe Lower Left Abdominal Pain.

For the last 6-7 months I have been having fairly constant pain in my left lower abdomen. It's usually more of an uncomfortable pain that is achy and feels like a baseball is being pressed into my abdomen. However I do get periods that can last from a couple hours to a couple days of completely excruciating sharp and achy pain. I'm almost always nauseous but rarely vomit, as well, I have diarrhea from 1-5 times a week (usually more often than not). About a month ago I had a bm that was almost entirely blood. The doctor dismissed that as a fissure (which I'm not buying...) and I've been for many many an ultrasound. I did have one cyst in my right ovary however that is now gone and the pain is not. I also suffer from migraines however if that is related or not I'm not sure. I'm at a complete loss.

You need to get a second opinion...You need a CT of your abdomen to rule out any problems with the Colon, or lower intestinal tract , such as Diverticulitis...This can cause severe pain, diarrhea, nausea, pressure (Feeling Bloated), and bleeding.....Without benefit of knowing your Medical History, I can only make an assumptive diagnosis related to the symptoms you describe...This needs to be fully evaluated..Be Persistant with this...Find a reputable physician and do not be "blown off"...This could be a very serious problem..Not to be taken lightly....I hope this has helped...Good Luck and God Bless You...Please, keep us posted....
