Peeling skin on feet

My active four year old has peeling skin on his feet and it's getting worse. It is mostly between the toes and on the bottom of his toes. No pain, red skin underneath, no itching. The skin is not dry at all, in fact the skin coming off if very moist. What should we do? He already wears cotton socks and we change tennis shoes often.
