In most states you don't even have to bother asking your x,you can contact the school directly send them a copy of the order,and ask for proof of enrollment. In cases of minor children you are entitled to all school records,including grades. The same rule may apply to children over 18.Check the code for support payments in that state. Even if this order is not thru child support enforcement you can contact your local office and they will know if this applys to your state.

Am I entitlted to college transcripts to show proof of attendance?
I've been paying child support enforced by the state of Hawaii while my son who lives with his mother in Cailifornia. I've requested proof of enrollment and she just won't reply back. I don't have any problems paying the child support but I want to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of. My son is 19 and will turn 20 in February.
