At what point is cold cold?

Depending on where you live, cold is relative on what you consider it being.

From people I have talked too, cold could be in the 40s, or if you live further north cold might not be till the temp drops into the 20s. If you live in the sunny state of Florida, cold might be 60 degrees and you digging out the sweaters.

What part of the country (or which country) do you live and what do you consider cold?

Here in Colorado, I would say that cold starts about 10 - 15 degrees F, a bit higher if there is a wind. Under 0 is when it starts to get really cold.

I agree with you renewednw. I'm in Las Vegas but lived in Colorado for 13 years. I moved here in December during a week where the weather was the low 60's. I thought the temperature was beautiful with just a sweatshirt on and couldn't understand why folks were walking around shivering with their heavy coats on. I honestly thought they were crazy!

Now however, after being here over 10 years, my body has also acclimated to the desert heat with hot summer days upwards of 115 degrees. As soon as the temperature drops below 70, I feel cold! This week I've even put off my daily walks as I don't want to be in the cold weather! Not good! I guess I'll just have to bundle up like those folks who I thought were crazy 10 years ago, LOL!
