Pretty sure that it will not charge when towed. If you dont know, then it probably doesnt. I have a tent trailer, it's old, so it doesnt charge ofcourse, but, if you think yours might for some reason, get under it and look for anything that looks like it has belts/chains etc hooked to it, OR, check for wires going to where the wheels are--if the answer is no to all ove the above, then it does not charge while being towed.
