Fan will not work.

2004 jeep liberty, fan will not work on selection 1,2,3; will only work on the 4 level.

If the blower fan only works on high speed more than likely you have a bad blower resistor unit.
This is a voltage limiter that is situated in the blower duct that creates the blowers lower fan speeds.
This unit operates much like the light dimmer switch found in most home lighting.
