Advice on dry skin and mosturizer

I am currently on a water pill ( diuretic) that flushes a lot of water out of my system. I drink quite a bit of water during the day but my skin seems to be a lot dryer than it used to be. Especially right above my eyelids.

Can anyone reccommend a good mosturizer for my face or any other ideas that could help.

I've always had really dry skin and living in Colorado, I dry up like day old toast come november. Here is what I have learned that defiantly helps:

Wash with a really gentle face wash - Cetaphil is the BEST because it has no fragrance and it won't strip your skin of all of the good oils that keep you hydrated and healthy. Also only wash your face 2x a day - no more. If you work out try working out in the morning, so you can stick to 2x a day.

Use a really good moisturizer, my favorite is called Ponds Cold Cream, but Oil of Olay has great moisturizers too (my mom looks great because she started an anit-wrinkle routine in her early 20s')

Once a week, get your Cosmo or Wired or Computer Arts magazine, turn your shower as hot as it goes and sit in the closed room for about 10 minutes. Then wash your face is lukewarm water and splash with cold water at the end and put on the moisturizer.

There are so many great moisturizing masks out there - try to find something with NO FRAGRANCE!

This sounds funny, but for feet and hands, if you put vasoline on them, wrap them in a plastic bag and sleep with mittens or socks on - they will be pedi/mani smooth seriously!

Vasoline would also work for your eyelids if they are really dry.

Learned about Vasoline from the Tyra Banks show and it really works!
