Acute pain in lower left abdominal

I have had a sharp pain in my side for a week. It hurts when I sit, bend forward, cough, and feels like a baseball sitting inside of me.It is located on my left side between my hip bone and belly button. I have seen to docters and they both don't know what is causing to pain. I have had to following done: CT scan, x-ray, blood drawn, urine test, and a rectal exam. I could still feel it even after given morphine and oxycodne, etc. Any guess on what could be causing it. Large intestine, spleen?

An MRI or Ultrasound may be more helpfull in this case than a CT scan, as these tests are better at looking at soft tissue, and detecting tumor like masses. You may also want to talk to your doctor about whether or not a colonoscopy may be warrented in your case, it may find something inside the colon that would not otherwise be visible on standard test. If a colonoscopy shows nothing, exploratory surgery may be warrented. Your spleen, is located much higher on the left side, partly under the rib cage, so I would suspect your colon.
