I have NOT played Guitar Hero 3. HOWEVER - everyone I talk to that has played this game loves it and says it's amazing. Rock Band has a lot of commercials and hype going on right now - which sometimes can indicate an inferior game that needs more marketing behind it. True quality games sell themsleves. As is everything when it comes to movies / books / music. Rock band does not look as exciting to me just based on the skit type commercials they are promoting right now.
