Church/Pastor Endorsement of Candidate for U.S. Senate

Is it appropriate for a pastor of a 501 c 3 church to endorse a candidate for the U.S. Senate? AND
How can a pastor phrase a letter in support of a U.S. Senate Candidate without interferring with the church's 501 c 3 status?

No no and no. If you look up the violations of having a 501c3 you are not allowed to endorse politicians. It's called lobbying and it's a big no no. It's grounds to have your status removed.
