What difference is there in store bought shampoo and redken

MY stylist is always trying to get me to purchase redken products but would like to know more.

All of people dont know
alot of stor bought shampoos and conditioners are wax based and short term give your hair a glow and shine and less flyaways. But long term, you are creatin alot of waxy buildup and it destroys your hair, breaking it creating split ends
