You did the right thing to break up it sounds like you care more than he does. He is just playing mind games and you don't need that. Don't let him know it bothers you, that a bother him more than it bothers you. He needs to grow up. You need an honest relationship with some one that you can respect and trust sometimes it takes time but when it comes it is worth it.
