I thought women's field hockey was a helmet-less sport?
you might run into problems, if she wore a helmet and no one else did.
i'd ask the league officials as they would have to ok any helmets.
also, if she had a really bad concussion, she might want to take some more time off of the sport. Eric Lindros of the Flyers in the NHL took months and months off after some of his later concussions.
