I have been having problems with my ford tempo and i can't figure out what is wrong with it

I dorve it 400miles from wy to co and it went fine after i got here it ran about a week before having problems. the battery wouldn't stay charged i had the alternator tested twice and both times was told that it was working fine so i replaced the battery it also started to loose antifreeze and over heat. I took out the radiator and had it fixed it ran for about a day then it died the positive battery cable was old and rusted so i replaced that. Now it work even make the clicking sound that the battery is dead, or try and turn over. The last time i tried to the start the car the dome and panel lights came on when i turned the key then i pushed in the clutch and every thing went out and has came back on since.

If this happened right after you replaced the + cable go back to the cable remove the positive lead from the batt check where you replaced it on the solnoid make sure the batt lead is the first wire to go on the terminal make sure it is solidely against the terminal then add the other wires and tighten making sure the wires will not move===check the other side if solnoid make sure that lead is tight === check negative side of batt making sure the terminal is clean and tight == then reconnect the a fully charged batt and try to start it
