I think I broke some ribs....do I have to do anything or will they heal by themselves

I think I may have broken some ribs...should I do anything or just let them heal by themselves

You need to go get x-rayed. especially if you are having trouble breathing(sharp pains). Broken ribs can puncture your lungs and that can create a whole new mess of problems. Especially if you don't get proper medical care.
