Sore gums

My daughter is pregnant and her gum are killing her. the dentist told her to rinse with salt water, I told her to use peroxide. is there anything else to help with this problem

Peroxide is not recommended because it damages healthy tissues as well as infected ones.. If she is having any other problems like canker sores, there is a rinse aid called Vince (found at most drug stores) that works wonders. If her gums are swollen and bleeding try Gly-oxide. Tastes yucky, but it oxygenates on the gums bringing healing as well. This is recommended by dentists for gingivitis. Susu
