Vacation tax

Is vacation pay payout taxed differently then regular weekly income?

If you receive vacation pay, those benefits are subject to the same tax rate as your regular pay. However, if you sell your vacation time, (don't take time off but get paid) and combined with your regular pay it gives you time and a half, you will actually pay more in taxes. Susu
