Some states will let you draw up the paperwork yourself, but be wary. If you are not familiar with legal terminology and how the courts system works, just one misplaced or wrong word could create a loophole that in effect could nullify the entire order. Judges are not required to read through the entire document to make sure you got everything just right. Some will, and point them out to you, but many just do not have the time.
