Sore gums

My daughter is pregnant and her gum are killing her. the dentist told her to rinse with salt water, I told her to use peroxide. is there anything else to help with this problem

Do what the dentist told her warm salt water. also ask her ob/gyn doctor for advise. do not, repeat do not use peroxide it can be poisonous and harmful to mom and baby, people used to gargle with it but I read an article lately and it said it can be harmful. if oragels instructios say its ok for pregnant woman then use that. Hope she's ok.
