Child Custody in Florida

I am starting a case in Florida but I live out of state, I only wanted to get visitation for my kids because the mother wont let me even talk to them, but now I heard shes messing up again and I want to try for full custody. What are the circumstances for that. Would I have to prove that shes unfit? She not really but I could provide so much better for them.

Most states want both parents to have influence in their children's lives. Unless one parent is physically abusive or has a dependency like alcoholism. Then it's different - but every situation is unique. You might get full custody if you can prove that she's unfit, but that's often hard to do.
