Depends on his money situation. If he can afford it the Shane Company is great and very helpful. Kay, and Jared are great also (Kay has a good selection for a limited budget). Every girl likes to see an expencive name on the box (even if he didn't pay 5,000 for it). Online is okay, but I feel he should hold it and look at it up close. Maybe you could go with him and show him how it looks on a female hand? Please, for her sake, tell him NOT to go to a pawn shop.
