My 12 yr old rott had arthrithis so bad and we gave him deramax, as at that age aspirin really upset his stomache and as a daily routine will cause more stomache problems, please take him to the vet. sometimes dogs have more problems than we think. When I thought my rotts arthritis got so bad I took him in and he was filled with cancer. Dogs have a way of hiding their pain from their loved ones and he may be in more pain than you think. I did the humane thing and put my dear old boy down. good luck to you my friend.
