Can grandparents have visitation rihts to grand children

My daughter and her husband got a divorce and they brought ther son to our home, we are the grand parents. we raised the child for two and a half years. they adopted the child he is now eeleven years old. both parents are on drugs and the c.p.s. gave him back to them the state said we had to file for third party custody. so we did. and our daughter went to court to try
to stop us from raising the child. cps took him from his real mother when he was 6 monts old for drug use. now ten years later they gave him back to his adopted parents. who are on drugs. something doesn't seem right the child needs help they just want him for the $250.00 dollars a month.,

Grand parents do have rights to see there grand children. If it becomes a problem to where they refuse you the right to see then you can take them to court and the corts will most likely award you visitation rights. And because of the history with drug it is even posible to take costity of the child. If you were to take the parent to cort and prove her not to be a stable mother or that the place of residence is not safe you can take the child. and if you belive that the people are drugs now you can request for them to be drug tested.
