I've had the same thing, though down my right leg. I tried a number of things and what I found worked best was MAT - Muscle Activation Treatment. Your nerve is getting pinched somewhere and most likely caused by a muscle imbalance. After one treatment the change was incredible. Basically what they will do is work opposing muscles to work it out. You’ll gain strength too as I noticed. I took about 6 or 7 treatments in total, but much better than my past experiences with PT and chiropractors. Good luck.
