Connecting older printer to new computer

How would i connect existing lexmark z52 printer now on windows me computer to new computer running vista

Connect it directly or over a network? If directly, you should be able to just plug it in and Vista will recognize it and load the appropriate drivers. If it doesn't load them, go to the manufacturer site and look for updated drivers for your printer.
