Annulment

Can an individual get an annulment without the other party's signature within 60 days or marriage?

Must states no longer grant annullments. There are only 5 or six left that will, and those will only grant an annullment if there was something that made the marriage illegal in the first place. Annullments also cost more than divorces to process, so you're better off going the divorce route. Whether it is an annullment or divorce, you can't just do it without your married partner's knowledge. The partner must be "served" and granted the opportunity to appear in court to contest or otherwise dispute the divorce or annullment. If the other person doesn't show for the court appearance, things will go pretty much the way you want them to.
