Moved to SC from Florida. Question about child support & custody.

In Oct I transferred to South Carolina from Florida. I have had primary custody of my 2 children since my divorce in 2000. My ex-husband was ordered to pay child support and the children have remained in my care every since. When I transferred, my daughter, now age 16 was hesitant to move because she is a junior in high school & didn't want to leave her friends. Didn't agree because I didn't want to be away from her but she decided to stay with her dad so she could finish out her school there. Our son, age 10 moved with me and my husband to SC and has adjusted well. His dad has not sent one dime of child support. Is this okay since he kept one child or could I pursue child support for the 10 year old that has health issues and takes several maint.medicines & needs more care?

Child support is usually not permanent, courts will change it when circumstances change. Since the father has custody of your daughter most of the time now, he might not have to pay child support for her any more. But he should help out with your son. I'd download a child support worksheet and fill that out. That will give you an idea of how much child support he should be paying.
