Concerning assult rifile laws

I am a soldier getting out of the Army and I will be relocating to california. I happen to own an AR-15. What will I have to do to be able to keep my rifle and be in complience with the state laws?

First off thank you and glad to have ya home safe! I think for Cali. ur screwed. Not sure if even still allowed to have a assult type rifle at all there. The only way would be put a permanant clip in and make sure only semi auto if they accect that even.
