Is there any way to change the subject line of received emails?

Is there any way to change the subject line of received emails that you are keeping in a folder? I'd like to be able to search through the folder for a particular email without having to open each one.

It is an extra step but, if you want to change the subject line, you could forward the email to yourself and change the subject line at that time.
