Midget, unlike dwarfisim, is not a medical term, and I find it very offensive. Since this term first originated in Carnivals, Circuses, and "freak shows" I don't think it has any more place in modern society than the N word.

Do you find the word "midget" to be an offensive word?
I dont let my family use the word "midget" to refer to a person of short stature. I make them say "little person".
Ive always wandered if any other families do this? Ive never met another family who did this. When i was kid, it didnt matter. But then again, i didnt really understand respect when i was younger.
