I am not getting the question in this, but if you are asking us (as your title implies) There is nothing we can do for you other than give you some advice, and my advice would be to talk to the chief of staff at Duke, or there complaint office, all hospitals have one, they will try to resolve your issues as quickly and efficently as possible, they don't want a law suit. Also, your mothers insurance company should have nurses that you can talk to about this, and they may want your mother to begin being treated elswhere. Good Luck

Do you handle services for seniors
Since November 4th my mother has been dealing with Duke hospital.
She is a 78 year old woman and has pressure sores on her buttocks.
she was sent home on the fourth from emergency room with gause and
saline solution. on the 12th she went to Duke urgent care, examined and sent home with gause and saline. on the 13th of nov. a visiting nurse reported to the house and after undressing my mother to look at the wound, she noticed a bad odor. She asked if she was given any antibiotics....no. Any debreeding ointment...no. She then called Duke urgent care and ordered doc to call in prescript. since that time mom has had surgery, uti and c-deff infections. As of this date I have been told that she must now have surgery again. she has another wound so deep your fist can go inside help me cecil
