Is there a medicine I can take?

I have had a colosotmy for 17yrs. I caught a stomach virus last week. Threw up for nine hours, with diareahha following for another 3 day with cramps. Then it was slowing down, but no cramps. This morning I woke to cramps and more active diareah. I thought it was because I drank some wine and maybe wasnt ready for that, but now am not sure. Can I take any thing to help slow it down or stop it? i have no insurance!

Drink plenty of water and try eating bananas everyday. This works for my husband , who also has a colostomy. If this doesnt work, please see your doctor regardless of your insurance situation. Eating white rice might also do the trick. Hope this helps.
