First comes the name of the intended recipient, then c/o (care of) the person who will be recieving it on behalf of the recipient. Then the street address as usual. Here is an example. If you are sending a letter to your previous employer at the business you worked for.

Bob Smith
c/o Random Business
123 Business Way
Anytown, CA 55555

I sent my army son a package routed through his girlfriend, because he will not provide a post address. He responded that they felt it was a sign of disrespect. I was taught that using a c/o address showed respect to the person whose actual address is being used. Am I missing something?
