Ann Brashares (born July 30, 1967) is an American writer of young adult fiction. She is best known as the author of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series of books. Her parents, William Brashares, a D.C. lawyer, and her mother Jane Easton, a psychiatric social worker.
