Marino Glass

We recieved a table top sized Marino Glass Elephant of Cenedese Yellow and orange about 7 inch tall with the trunk down except on the very end it turns up like he just picked something up. It was my husbands mother's it has a sticker on the bottom that is about worn off but could make it out with a 10 power loop. This thing has a weight of 8.5 lbs, can't seem to find anything like it to compare price for a value. His mother said she bought in in 1970 when she got new furniture from from a fine furniture store in Casper Wyoming. Could this be pre D'Este Murano Glass Factory, or were they shipping stuff to the U.S. as early as 1970? Any help with this would be great.
