The fireing order is on the intake manifold it will be a series of numbers such as [THIS IS NOT THE ORDER 1-8-5-2-7-6-3-4] once you have the order if you still havr a problem pull valve cover on #1 cylinder when it is at top dead center both intake and exhaust valves will be closed as it continues to rotate the intake valve will start to open then you are sure you are at top dead center then set the distributor ==if by chance you replaced the intake with a high rise call your local auto parts they can look it up for you sorry cant help further but i threw those particular books away 15 years ago
