1986 Mercedes 190E 2.3 liter hot weather starting problems.

This car starts perfectly fine in cooler weather with no pedal as a fuel injected car should but when it gets warm out it fails to fire and you need to put your foot into the pedal. It has never failed to start but it does so with a big black cloud of rich smelling fuel. The car is in fantastic shape with 55000 miles on it and my parents the only owners before me. They took it to various dealerships and independent mechanics that changed many things out but nothing that ever worked each time for about a thousand dollars a pop. Any Ideas?

Have you checked you fuel injecters , they may be stopping up , and peeing in fuel instead of misting, this is what it sounds like to me, running rich like this, if they pee, they are pouring in a lot of fuel on starting , and when you drive , you have to keep the padel down to keep from dying of an over load of gas

The injectors were checked. This is only a problem during hot weather starts. It's not running rich driving after the hot weather start.
