Have you checked for spark u might have bad computer. i cant rmember if ignition module runs fuel pump think just ignition. but it can be tested at autozone too. if u have spark check the fuse box the plugins through the firewall on the fords corrode horribly have had to fix quite a few of them. may have to unbolt fuse panel from firewall also. to get at plug ins.

There fuel pump relay located on the drivers side firewall or wheel well. If relay is not working then you wont get power to the pump in the tank. The high presure pump located on the driver side frame rail is energized when the key is turned on. You can actually hear it run when you turn the key. I would check that relay it is a common problem for older fords. Good Luck

There is a valve usualy under the Drive door it switches the front to rear tank. These are know to go bad I have repalced many with I was working on cars and trucks. Replace this valve and you will probably fix your problem.
