Brake lights only work when brake pedal pressed very hard

The problem is the brake switch. This component is located under the dash. Simple repair

Gregs right on it there a little switch that touches the brake peddle arm there that is spring loaded it problly just needs to be adjusted back some so you dont have to mash the brake so hard for it to come out and make contact
