2000 chevy blazer, brakes

When you step on the break pedal, it is very difficult, but there is hardly any breaks at all. what might be the problem? when pushing down on the pedal, the seem to be a lot of pressure! thanks,joe

If there is too much pressure its one of three things first is to bleed the brakes second is a blocked brake line third is a bad brake booster or master cylinder the first is cheapest
