2002 Chevrolet Impala, see details below:

When I open the door to get into the car after work which is the hottest part of the day, I immediatly hear a clicking sound coming from the passengers side fuse box. When I start the car the radio says locked, the AC won't blow cold air and the warning light display is flashing crazy things like door ajar, high beam out, service vehicle soon, security. After a while, maybe 10 miles, maybe 20 miles the radio will unlock and eventually the AC will blow cold air, but the security light usually stays lit and of course the clicking has stopped. The car is fine when starting up for the first time in the day. What could this be?

This is a fuse relay kicking out on you , what nhappens is when it gets hot in the day , and the temp goes up in the car, a relay , which is bad or real close to the breaking point , kicks out , and when you drive it a few miles it resets itself because of the cooler temp, find which fuse has kicked and replace it with a new one, and you will be ok

As far as I can tell, this was the only answer we got, but it makes sense. So thank you kbky11!!!! I'll be calling Chevy tomorrow and find out how much the relay fuses are to replace. Thank you again for your help!!!
